Guo Xiaotian

Guo Xiaotian is a fictional character in ''The Legend of the Condor Heroes'', a novel written by Chinese author Jinyong
He is the father of Guo Jing and the husband of Li Ping .

Life

Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin were neighbours and sworn brothers. The bond between the two was so deep that they swore to each other their unborn children would become either sworn brothers or sisters or be married . One day they meet the Taoist priest Qiu Chuji and invite him in from the cold to share some drinks together. Qiu Chuji strikes up a fast friendship with the two young men and presented each with a dagger and promised to return to transfer his skills to their sons.

One evening, Song soldiers led by Duan Tiande arrived to arrest Yang Tiexin and Guo Xiaotian as traitors. Yang Tiexin and Guo Xiaotian resist but they are overmatched and Guo Xiaotian is killed eventually.
